#ok#1. she’s completely right at not feeling safe bc hotch clearly doesn’t have her back rn#if he had he wouldn’t have send her there to relive all again her attack#2. if you think that elle is wrong just bc ~omg hotch and saint gidz are never wrong~ then please gtfo of my blog#3. see morgan in that first gif? you better see it right#because that’s how you stop someone in a non-threatening way#he just stands there in the way he doesn’t reach out to her like reid does
I’ll probably piss you off and that’s fine, but how does Hotch not have her back, when it was Anderson who didn’t understand that “take Agent Greenaway home” meant taking her home and staying there. Hotch isn’t perfect, but he had her back.
Also, I am pretty sure Elle wanted to be “out there” to finally catch that guy. She panicked.
Well, we can agree on one thing: you are pissing me off. But I’ll be nice and spell it out for you here.
I’m not saying it was Hotch’s fault she got shot at her own home. Damn, it’s not even Anderson’s fault. The fault it’s you know, of the guy who actually shoot her.
Now, what I’m saying it’s that he’s not having her back NOW, on this case. Hotch clearly knows (just like Gideon and the whole team tbhh) that she isn’t ready for being out there posing as a possible victim. A possible rapist victim. So yes, he’s not taking a good care of her, sorry. Just the same as when Hotch didn’t let Reid travel because of his leg, it’s the same. You’re not healthy? You don’t go. And if you even think about saying PTSD is less “important” than a physical injury, just DON’T.
And yes, Elle wanted to be out there. Reid wanted that too (continuing with my analogy here) but they weren’t ready so they’re weren’t supposed to be out there working in an environment that would hurt them more. End of discussion. It was Elle’s decision? No, she isn’t the leader on the team. Besides, are you going to tell me that you never were unhealthy but still wanted to do something that you weren’t ready to do? Are you going to tell me you can’t empathize with that feeling?
I never said PTSD isn’t serious. Also, you can sit there and blame Hotch but Elle was kind of a bitch any ways. Glad she left.
Good, because PTSD is serious.
I blame Hotch and Gideon for not puting her aside for this part of the job, yes. And now how exactly was she a bitch? Because she told Hotch she felt unsafe? Because she was legitimate scare for her well-being when put in the position of a victim again? Give a good reason please. Because as far as I can tell, all I can see is a woman who’s still recovering from a traumatic event and people not being supportive of her. To be clear I’m not saying it was ok to kill the UnSub, what I’m saying is that she wasn’t a bitch, she was a strong woman, in recovery, scared, mad. She felt vulnerable and impotent or helpless at the same time ‘cause she couldn’t prevent by legal ways this man to rape and kill again. How any of this makes her a bitch? Seriously, explain your reasoning to me.
